Katarina Wit was born 3 December 1965, at Staaken (East Germany). As she seeks out new challenges she continually opens possibilities of new work for herself. She also accumulates knowledge in various fields in the fields of figure skating, production performing, presenting, acting, and writing. Katarina Witt ended her amateur career after 1988 World Championships. For the next three years she'll co-headlining North America and Canada her first professional tour along with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion as well as the Calgary Olympic Champion World Champion. Due to the popularity of the show, "Witt and Boitano Skating", the reason Madison Square Garden is now fully booked for the very premiere figure skating show that has been held in New York in 10 years. The show returns her as a competitive athlete to the Olympic Games at Lillehammer, 1994 for her third appearance. She is the creative brain behind many of the international shows on ice that she conceptualises, creates, headlines and produces with her own production company, WITH WITT. With WITT, the company is setting new standards in the skating production market producing live-streamed shows like "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends", "Enjoy the Stars" as well as "Winter The Magic" for US as well as German TV.
